White Bear Soccer Club strives to provide the ultimate soccer experience for all youth soccer players. We cultivate an environment that offers an opportunity for all players to compete and play at a level that meets or exceeds their potential.
White Bear Soccer Club provides the positive coaching, training and atmosphere needed for each player to develop the skills and knowledge of the game needed to compete at their level of play. Above all, White Bear Soccer Club seeks to help each player develop a passion for the beautiful game of soccer, instilling those life skills of sportsmanship, teamwork and fair play.
The WBSC is sad to announce that the competitive leagues, MYSA and TCSL, that our players compete in have made the decision to cancel the competitive season.
The WBSC Board and Directors are currently working to determine what the WBSC will be able to offer for the rest of the summer. We will be updating everyone soon.
As many of you know, Governor Walz has extended the stay at home orders until May 4th. There’s still much uncertainty out there but it’s time to press in and be part of the effort to get on top of this unprecedented situation we find ourselves in. As a club, we’re working hard to keep our kids engaged. Edi and his talented staff are working hard at developing and presenting, in creative ways, opportunities for kids to remain active while honing their soccer skills in a safe and healthy environment.
We’re all missing our teammates, coaches and trainers but rest assured the club is staying poised and ready for that moment when the all clear sounds and we can get back on the field! We all wish we knew when that was but it’s out of our hands for now. We’ll continue to provide you with updates and communications as they become available. Thank you for patience and continued support. Let’s make sure WBSC and our athletes are healthy and prepared to take on the challenges as they come our way.
In the midst of these unprecedented times many of our families are finding themselves in situations they never thought possible. As a club we want to do the right thing for our soccer club and its members. While our club has continued to produce an excellent soccer product we have done so as one of the best “value” programs in the region. As most of you know we are a non profit organization and our budget is very limited. We are asking that we all work together during this time and that includes our financial situation.
Regarding refunds we are too early in this whole situation to be able to provide specifics regarding refunds. We don’t have a full picture yet of what is yet to come. The decisions we make now will have a significant impact on the quality of our coaches, our staff and club leadership. We ask for the sake of the club please be patient as we do all we can to keep our small but vibrant club alive.
The club has ongoing expenses, many of which we have to pay up front, being a year round organization. We have overhead like any other organization. This includes, but not limited to, league fees, field rentals, insurance, coaches, and staff. All the personnel and services needed to provide your children with a quality soccer experience at all age levels. We will do all we can to make sure that soccer experience is awaiting your children when the restrictions are lifted but we can’t do it without your patience and understanding.
Dear WBSC Families,
As a club we want to stay connected with you, our members. We will attempt to communicate as best we can regarding the state of youth soccer as it pertains to WBSC. We continue to receive updates from a variety of sources regarding youth club soccer and how COVID-19 is effecting youth soccer on a National level and more importantly locally.
All age levels obviously are affected by these circumstances we find ourselves in. As a club we will continue to do our best to make what we believe to be decisions that best serve our families and our club. We ask that you please be patient as we maneuver our way through this unprecedented situation. At the time of this letter all soccer activities and operation are suspended into mid April. April 1st several youth soccer associations will begin reassessing the COVID-19 situation every two weeks and communicating any changes. We will follow a similar pattern unless changes occur that need immediate communication. Thank you for your understanding.

WBSC is happy and proud to announce we have renewed our partnership with Twin Cities Orthopedics through the 2021 soccer season, making TCO the official sports medicine provider for WBSC. The partnership allows for WBSC to keep cost of soccer low to our members, and the TCO logo will continue to be displayed on our Competitive and Academy game and practice jerseys. Additionally, the partnership provides the following advantages and opportunities for WBSC members and coaches:
- TCO on-site medical coverage at camps, jamborees, and evaluations
- Concussion baseline testing for athletes
- Injury prevention, CPR and first aid training to coaches
- Educational opportunities for WBSC member families
We thank TCO for their continued support and look forward to fully utilizing the renewed partnership over the next two seasons.
