GAMES:

• Games will be Tues @ 7:15PM and Thurs @ 6:00 PM.        Please arrive 15 minutes early to warm-up.
• Play consists of 4 field players and 1 goalie per team  
• The home team will be White and will start the game with the ball. 

EQUIPMENT: 

• U8 uses a #3 soccer ball and each girl should bring one to practice and games. 
• Soccer cleats are recommended and baseball spikes are not allowed due to risk of injuries. 
• Shin pads are required and should be worn under soccer socks. 
• Bring water bottles for hydration
• NO JEWELRY PLEASE

RULES:

• Games will have two 25 minute halves with a 5 minute half time
• At the kick-off , the ball must be kicked backwards to a teamate.  2 players can be in the center circle during the kick. 
• Correct throw-in, corner kick and goal kicks will be enforced this year.
• Free kicks will be granted to player after fouls.  The safety of the kids is top priority and we want to advicate clean play
• Substitutions are only allowed during throw-in, corner kicks and goal kicks.  Not after a goalie save.
• I recommend that coaches use a whistle
