Soccer Time Article about WBSC

The White Bear Soccer Club is able to provide year-round “State of the Art” soccer experiences due to brand new indoor and outdoor soccer facilities. Outdoor soccer venues include two regulation-sized lighted fields that can also serve as four U11/12 fields and two U9/10 fields at the Polar Lakes Park Complex in White Bear Township, plus the newly-opened five-field Hanifl Fields Athletic Complex in Hugo. The Hanifl Fields facility boasts five full-sized soccer fields and a new building, opening spring of 2011, which will have concessions, bathrooms and two large meeting spaces. The two facilities hosted the 2010 East District Girls’ Leagues Playoffs. In addition to the Polar Lakes Park and Hanifl Fields complexes, the White Bear Soccer Club is able to use several community fields located in Vadnais Heights and White Bear Lake for additional training spaces.

In the winter, the White Bear Soccer Club is able to use the new Vadnais Heights Sports Center, one of the largest indoor turf facilities in the region, boasting one full-sized regulation soccer field and another half-sized field to house the winter club training. The new indoor facility opened November of 2010 and is open to all players in the club.

The White Bear Soccer Club has made numerous improvements to the facilities and under the direction of newly-hired UEFA “A”-Licensed Coach and Director of Competitive Player Development, Carl Craig, they will provide some of the best training and playing opportunities in the state of Minnesota. Not many soccer clubs can provide the same excellent training environments that the White Bear Soccer Club can offer. The White Bear Soccer Club is an open, community-based club with a competitive edge.
